Position Summary

· Represent and help build organizational culture in a family-led company
· Work with managers to implement and coordinate HR best practices, striving always for a great candidate and employee experience
· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the organization's mission, values, and guiding principles. Identify and provide solutions to issues and best practices.
· Participate in the annual performance evaluation and review process. Support management with organizing appropriate training and development programs for staff to improve skills and knowledge.
· Lead and motivate HR staff to provide HR support. Delegate assignments and provide supervision
· Provide full cycle recruitment including posting job ads, reviewing candidate applications, conducting pre-screen interviews.
· Preparation of HR forms and letters related to the effective processing of new employees

· Provide appropriate guidance and expertise on employment and policy related matters
· Lead through employee relations matters such as conducting workplace investigations, facilitating interviews/meetings, drafting letters involving discipline, performance improvement plans and other corrective actions that require follow-up
· Maintain the group benefits and RRSP programs. Manage enrolments, analyze plans, and make recommendations for changes.
· Manage the company's immigration processes, including work permit applications, renewals, and compliance with immigration requirements for foreign national employees
· Manage and administer the Rippling HRIS platform, including employee records, workflows, integrations, permissions, and reporting.
Qualifications
· Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field or an equivalent level of education and experience is required. CPHR designation preferred.
· 10+ years of progressive experience in all human resources functions. A true "generalist" type of experience is required.
· Proficient with MSOffice and previous hands-on experience in the implementation and/or administration of an HRIS program is required.
· A proven track record of and willingness to understand the business and operations and how human resources can support it.
· Strong relationship management skills with experience in partnering, collaborating, and building trust with the employee and leadership teams.
· Ability to work collaboratively across the entire organization and all human resource functions to support the business. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationship.
· Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
· Strong change management skills with a demonstrated ability to act as a catalyst for change within a quickly changing business.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and negotiation skill.

Content & Brand Strategy
Develop the strategic direction for BWC's video and social content.
Work with external video/content partners to determine what should be captured, where, and why.
Ensure content reflects BWC's projects, people, expertise, culture, and unique position in the market.
Capture and share authentic, real-time moments from the business — from job sites and unique construction details to team moments, events, and behind-the-scenes experiences.
Build meaningful online engagement with architects, designers, realtors, industry partners, and other strategic contacts.
Events & Relationship Building
Plan and help execute a minimum of one strategic event per quarter.
Develop concepts for realtor events, client appreciation events, educational sessions, and other industry-facing opportunities.
Ensure events have a clear objective, whether that's generating leads, strengthening relationships, increasing brand awareness, or creating new business opportunities.
Work alongside the owner on marketing-related business development initiatives.
Reporting & Accountability
Establish meaningful marketing KPIs and reporting processes.
Track performance and use data to guide decisions and investment.
Provide the owner with clear insight into what's working, what's not, and where opportunities exist.
Take ownership of the marketing function so the owner can spend less time managing marketing and more time focused on the business.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is strategic, commercially minded, highly relationship-oriented, and comfortable operating independently.
Several years of experience in marketing, growth, business development, or a related strategic role.
Experience working with a service-based business where projects or contracts have significant value.
Experience in construction, design-build, architecture, engineering, real estate, professional services, luxury, or another relationship-driven industry is an asset.
Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including SEO, Google Ads, social media, analytics, and performance reporting.
The ability to confidently manage and challenge external marketing partners.
Experience planning and executing client or industry-facing events.

Job Summary:
The designer/draftsperson is a key member of the Blue Water Concepts team, working closely with the owner, lead estimator and design team. The designer/draftsperson will be responsible for meeting with clients to put together detailed design scopes, walking clients through preliminary planning and executing detailed interior and architectural plans for major renovations, new homes, and commercial TI buildouts. The range of projects varies widely, so there is always a variety of projects to work on. You will be an essential part of the pre-construction team at Blue Water Concepts. You will work closely with our lead estimator to ensure the designs work within clients’ budgets and adjust as needed.
This position is suited for someone who has a strong interior design and architectural design background and is very comfortable with Revit, budgets and managing projects. You enjoy building relationships with clients and enjoy a fun and fast-paced work environment with tons of interesting projects coming through the door.
Responsibilities:
· Schedule and execute all design projects you are responsible for as efficiently as possible.
· Keep timely and appropriate communication with our clients to ensure relationships remain strong and their experience throughout the design process is a positive one.
· Create and maintain a schedule for all design projects you are responsible for and communicate that to the estimating and production team clearly and accurately.
· Work closely with the Project Coordinator and Project Managers to ensure project material specifications are current, client-approved, and available within the project’s schedule so they can be ordered on time.
